About Joseph Ugalde
Joseph Ugalde is a communication professional concentrating on content development for websites, email, video, social media, online communities and other corporate channels. He has experience managing both strategic planning and hands-on implementation across organizational communications, branding, social media, and marketing disciplines.
For 8 years, Joseph led the Marketing & Communication department of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), where he helped the organization achieve its highest levels of membership, event attendance, and media coverage in its 40-year history. He then began a 10-year journey at Wells Fargo, first as a contractor, writing and producing more than 50 Customer Care videos, managing a B-to-B blog, developing brand guidelines for Social Media engagement, and developing an online Knowledge Base for the Wells Fargo Community. He was then hired as a full-time Business Communications Manager, leading the small team responsible for developing scripts used by email and online chat bankers when engaging with customers. In this role, he successfully led an initiative to re-write the entire 5,000+ inventory of scripts to be more conversational and customer-friendly. |
